Tesla (TSLA) is setting a new record, with its CFO Vaibhav Taneja receiving a pay package of $139M last year, Theo Francis of The Wall Street Journal reports. This is more than most CEOs and the highest amount paid to a CEO since modern reporting began in 2006, the Journal notes, citing Equilar. The compensation package was tied to stock options and equity awards he received in October 2024.
