Daiwa raised the firm’s price target on Tesla to $218 from $200 and keeps an Outperform rating on the shares. Tesla demonstrated at its investor day multiple levers to drive a 50% reduction in direct costs, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The analyst says a focus on affordability at Tesla "will keep pressure on competitor margins."
