Tencent (TCEHY) established a team to work on "HunyuanAide," a ChatGPT-style chatbot using Tencent’s Hunyuan training model, following similar moves by Alibaba (BABA) and Baidu (BIDU), Reuters’ Josh Ye reports. The news comes after China’s Ministry of Science and Technology said on Friday it saw the potential of ChatGPT-like tech and would be pushing for the integration of AI into Chinese society and the economy.
