Teck Resources plans to spin off its coal business in order to focus more on industrial metals, Bloomberg’s Thomas Biesheuvel, Dinesh Nair and Jacob Lorinc report. According to people familiar with the matter, the miner is expected to make an announcement on the spinoff as early as next week, but a final decision has not yet been made.
