Taiwan companies have quickly begun shifting manufacturing to the U.S., with migration acceleration as the current president threatens more tariffs and trade bans, Jane Lanhee Lee and Debby Wu of Bloomberg reports. Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) and President Trump recently agreed upon a $100B bet that high-end chips can be made in the U.S. Meanwhile, Foxconn Technology is working with Apple (AAPL) to add an AI server assembly site in Texas. Even smaller Taiwanese companies are following suit.
