The tariff crossfire is hitting Toyota (TM), Nissan (NSANY), and Ford (F) suppliers in Japan, Reuters’ Maki Shiraki and Daniel Leussink report. Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba has called the U.S. tariffs, including 25% on automobiles, a “national crisis” for the world’s fourth-largest economy, while the automakers are seeking cooperation from suppliers on tariff costs, according to the report.
