Stephens lowered the firm’s price target on Talos Energy to $24 from $26 and keeps an Overweight rating on the shares. A production, EBITDA, and capex beat in Q1 was offset by a unit cash cost miss and “soft” Q2 production guidance, the analyst tells investors. However, a “noisy, transaction-filled” Q1 was roughly in line, while operations are on track and balance sheet improvement is ahead of schedule, the analyst added.
