The Nintendo Switch (NTDOY) was the top-selling video game console during Black Friday in the U.K., Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing data from GfK. The system accounted for 42% of all consoles sold during the week, with Microsoft’s (MSFT) Xbox Series accounting for 40% of all console sales and Sony‘s (SONY) PlayStation 5 making up 18%, the author notes. "Console hardware volumes over Black Friday week are similar to last year and Switch was again No.1," said GfK boss Dorian Bloch. "However, overall Switch volumes are way down over Black Friday 2021, as both Sony and Microsoft also targeted Black Friday week with tempting offers." Reference Link
