BofA analyst Julien Dumoulin-Smith downgraded SunPower to Underperform from Neutral with a price target of $7, down from $11, after the company pre-released weaker than expected Q2 preliminary results and updated FY23 guidance. The firm, which notes that it had already “substantially cut” its EBITDA and customer expectations, says its “confidence in execution collapses” given that SunPower’s growth outlook is “much weaker than we previously modeled.”
