Sunnova Energy price target lowered to $27 from $31 at B. Riley

B. Riley analyst Christopher Souther lowered the firm’s price target on Sunnova Energy to $27 from $31 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares. The analyst says the timing of Sunnova’s customer additions timing means that its visibility for growth for 2023 “remains strong even if the market turns sour.” The solar and storage group has underperformed the major averages in 2023 given uncertainty in the U.S. residential market, the analyst tells investors in a research note.
