Goldman Sachs analyst Alexander Blostein lowered the firm’s price target on State Street (STT) to $98 from $100 and keeps a Buy rating on the shares after its Q1 results. The company beat on earnings, but the firm is cutting its FY25 EPS view by 35c to $9.31 to reflect weaker markets backdrop for fees and a lower jumping off point for net interest income heading into Q2, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Goldman adds however that the firm is encouraged by the management sticking with their original 2025 guide across revenues, expenses, and positive operating leverage.
