Morgan Stanley lowered the firm’s price target on State Street to $83 from $91 and keeps an Equal Weight rating on the shares after what the firm calls "a disappointing print." On the revenue side, the firm is not expecting that fee growth will be able to offset the NII declines and it says positive operating leverage "looks unlikely in 2023."
