Starwood Property expands board of directors with appointment of Harmon

Starwood Property Trust announced that the Board of Directors has appointed Deborah Harmon to serve as an independent director. The appointment is effective immediately and Ms. Harmon will stand for election to the Board at the 2023 annual meeting of shareholders to be held on May 18, 2023. The addition of Harmon brings the total number of Board members to nine, seven of whom are independent directors. Harmon is Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Artemis Real Estate Partners, a real estate private equity firm with more than $9 billion of capital raised since inception across core, core plus, value-add and opportunistic strategies.
