Starbucks (SBUX) Workers United, a union representing Starbucks workers, has voted to authorize a strike ahead of the final stages of contract bargaining, Bloomberg’s Daniela Sirtori reports. The union said that 98% of members voted to approve a stoppage, which will occur “if necessary,” the author says, noting that no decision has been made on whether workers will strike or when.
