Spotify, Epic say Apple’s revised DMA plan ‘unacceptable’ TechCrunch reports

Spotify (SPOT) and Epic Games are among the companies who are not happy with Apple’s (AAPL) revised compliance plan for the European Union’s Digital Markets Act, TechCrunch’s Sarah Perez reports. Spotify shared a statement with TechCrunch calling the plan “unacceptable” and claiming Apple was once again disregarding “the fundamental requirements” of the DMA, while Epic Games, whose investors include Tencent (TCEHY), KKR (KKR), Disney (DIS), and Sony (SONY), called the revisions “another case of “malicious compliance” involving “junk fees.”
