S&P Global (SPGI) and The London Stock Exchange Group (LNSTY) are among the possible bidders for Preqin, a U.K. data provider that focuses on the private equity industry, Reuters’ Amy-Jo Crowley and Milana Vinn report. According to four people with knowledge of the situation, Preqin’s owners are considering options including a full sale of the business, and are being advised by Goldman Sachs (GS). S&P already has a strategic partnership with Preqin to share data on their respective platforms, Reuters says.
