Evercore ISI analyst David Motemaden initiated coverage of S&P Global with an Outperform rating and $599 price target The firm sees more upside to the ratings issuance recovery than what is embedded in consensus, which drives 3%-4% upside to consensus EPS and EBITDA forecasts in 2025 and 2026, the analyst tells investors. Additionally, while the firm thinks that the Market Intelligence business is currently dealing with cyclical headwinds, it believes “we are close to a turning point,” the analyst noted.
