Southwest Airlines (LUV) expectations of aircraft deliveries from Boeing (BA) have been reduced to 20 from 46 estimated last month, Reuters’ Rajesh Kumar Singh and Allison Lampert report, citing sources. The report further cites Boeing’s delivery data indicating that the airline received just five aircraft in Q1, down from 29 a year ago. The reduced deliveres are being impacted by increased quality checks and regulatory audits, Reuters says.
