Sony’s ‘Astro Bot’ top wishlisted game from summer showcases, GI.biz reports

Sony’s (SONY) recently announced PlayStation 5 platformer “Astro Bot” appears to be the winner of this year’s summer games showcases, with the most wishlists of all the games shown and announced over the past couple of weeks, Gamesindustry.biz’s Christopher Dring reports, citing data from IGN Playlist, a backlog and play activity tracker. Microsoft-owned (MSFT) titles took six of the top ten spots from IGN’s Playlist data for games wishlisted from May 30 to June 12, including “DOOM: The Dark Ages,” “Gears of War: E-Day,” “Perfect Dark,” “South of Midnight,” “Fable,” and “Call of Duty: Black Ops 6.” Other games in the top ten were Kepler Interactive’s “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33,” Ubisoft’s (UBSFY) “Assassin’s Creed Shadows,” and Electronic Arts’ (EA) “Dragon Age: The Veilguard.”
