Sony is preparing to release a revised, more powerful edition of its PlayStation 5 console, codenamed Trinity, potentially by the end of 2024, The Verge’s Tom Warren reports. Game studios are already being asked to ensure that future PS5 titles are compatible with this upcoming gaming system, with a focus on improving ray tracing, Warren says, citing sources familiar with Sony‘s plans.
