SoftBank Group (SFTBY) said it would receive shares in T-Mobile (TMUS) worth $7.59B at no additional cost, increasing its stake in the company to 7.64% from 3.75%, Sam Nussey of Reuters reports. SoftBank told T-Mobile to issue 48.75M shares to it after conditions set out in an agreement made as part of the merger with Softbank’s Sprint and T-Mobile were met.
