Societe Generale (SCGLY) is in discussions to hire Italian dealmaker Enrico Chiapparoli from Barclays (BCS) for a senior role in the lender’s Milan offices, Bloomberg’s Pamela Barbaglia and Dinesh Nair report, citing people with knowledge of the matter. Chiapparoli is leaving the British bank just a few months after being named co-head of industrials for EMEA, the authors note.
