Macquarie analyst Paul Golding initiated coverage of Six Flags Entertainment with an Outperform rating and $64 price target. The company now has the largest portfolio of regional theme parks in North America including a combined 27 amusement parks, 15 water parks, and nine resorts, the analyst tells investors in a research note. The firm says synergies from the combined company are likely to take longer to fully realize, assuming some consumer cyclicality and weather. It like Six Flags’ scale, attractions, and intellectual property.
