Short-seller Bear Cave calls Oddity ‘high on hype, but low on substance’

Oddity Tech, the recently-public Israeli company that describes itself as “a consumer tech platform built to transform the global beauty and wellness market,” came public to “extreme investor enthusiasm for a high-growth and high-tech makeup company,” says short-seller The Bear Cave. The firm “sees things differently and believes Oddity is high on hype, but low on substance,” Edwin Dorsey wrote in a post on his Substack.
