Shopify initiated with an Overweight at Wells Fargo

Wells Fargo analyst Andrew Bauch initiated coverage of Shopify with an Overweight rating and $65 price target. Shopify’s “angle of attack has shifted” and the company has found “an ideal balance of operational ambition and financial discipline,” according to the analyst. While investors remain skeptical of margin potential, this presents “an attractive buying opportunity,” the analyst added.
