Shoemaker Birkenstock Holding filed for an initial public offering with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, said the WSJ. Birkenstock Holding noted that the New York Stock Exchange is where the company intends to list and under the ticker BIRK, ” added the Journal. Birkenstock did not give pricing details nor the amount of shares intended for the IPO, added the story. Companies in the casual shoe and sneaker space include Nike (NKE), Crocs (CROX), On Holding (ONON) Dick’s Sporting (DKS) Nike (NKE), Skechers (SKX), Designer Brands (DBI).
