Samsung Electronics (SSNLF) is delaying mass production plans at its new $17B chip facility in Texas to 2025 after previously expecting to begin production in 2H24, Bloomberg’s Shinhye Kang and Seyoon Kim report, citing Seoul Economic Daily. The move follows an earlier decision by Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSM) to postpone production at its new Arizona plant to 2025 due to a shortage of experienced construction workers and installation technicians.
