RTX awarded $111.88M Navy contract modification

RTX was awarded a $111.88M contract modification to a previously awarded cost-plus-incentive-fee contract. This modification extends the period of performance for the Propulsion System Block Four Flight Test Program to December 2026 to provide continued technical engineering, flight test support, special tooling, test equipment repair, and flight test spare and repair parts for the F-35 Lightning II Propulsion System Block Four Flight Test Program for the Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and F-35 Cooperative Program Partners. Work is expected to be completed in December 2026. Naval Air Systems Command is the contracting activity.
