Rocket Companies (RKT), whose Chief Information Officer Brian Woodring said one month ago that he was leaving the company to pursue other opportunities, is creating a new C-level technology role as the company looks to unify its AI push under one leader, reported The Wall Street Journal’s Isabelle Bousquette. Shawn Malhotra, the former head of engineering and product development at Thomson Reuters (TRI), has been hired as Chief Technology Officer and will begin Monday, reporting to Chief Executive Varun Krishna, the report noted.
