Attorney General Ken Paxton has launched investigations into Character.AI and fourteen other companies including Reddit (RDDT), Instagram (META), and Discord regarding their privacy and safety practices for minors pursuant to the Securing Children Online through Parental Empowerment Act and the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act, the AG announced.
