Sir Jim Ratclife’s proposed purchase of 25% of Manchester United was in final negotiations on Thursday evening, The Times’ Matt Dickinson reports. The Ineos team and Glazer family have been working all week in an attempt to finalize the paperwork in order to initiate the process of approvals, and even if concluded Friday, it will be weeks into 2024 before it can be full ratified by the Premier League and other regulators, the author notes.
