Polished says SEC conducting investigation of prior disclosures

In a regulatory filing, Polished.com stated: “The U.S. Securities Exchange Commission is conducting an investigation related to issues disclosed in the company’s Form 8-K filed on December 27, 2022, including the findings of the company’s Audit Committee investigation, as described therein, and the subsequent restatement of the company’s previously issued consolidated financial statements as of and for the year ended December 31, 2021 and for the quarter ended March 31, 2022. The SEC staff has subpoenaed documents and information, including documents and information related to the Audit Committee’s investigation and restated financials. The SEC Investigation is a non-public, fact-finding inquiry to determine whether there were any violations of the federal securities laws. The company is fully cooperating and will continue to cooperate with the SEC.”
