PointClickCare acquires CPSI subsidiary American HealthTech, terms not disclosed

PointClickCare Technologies announced the acquisition of American HealthTech, a subsidiary of Computer Programs and System and a provider of electronic health record solutions and related services for the post-acute care market. CPSI announced the divestment of AHT and selected PointClickCare to continue supporting AHT customers into the future. Since its inception, PointClickCare has invested in innovation across the care continuum to help care providers maximize the potential of technology to close gaps in care, create more efficiencies, and improve the healthcare delivery experience. AHT’s post-acute customer base will now have access to the industry’s most-expansive dataset and the opportunity to join PointClickCare’s vision of transforming the senior care ecosystem through the creation of a connected care network during a critical period of digital transformation for the industry. PointClickCare’s integrated platform delivers real-time, actionable insights at the point of care to facilitate seamless transitions and better post-discharge outcomes while providing visibility into post-acute network performance. With PointClickCare, AHT customers’ care teams will gain access to the data they need, at the point of care, for proactive care collaboration and intervention for their patients, helping them thrive in an evolving market as the needs of their patients become more complex.
