Pfizer (PFE) is close to a $7.3B takeover of Metsera, planning to pay the company $47.50 per share in cash and an additional $22.50 if certain milestones are met, Oliver Barnes of The Financial Times reports, citing two people familiar with the matter. The acquisition could be announced as early as Monday, the sources added.
