Penn Entertainment to lay off about 100 employees, CNBC reports

Penn Entertainment CEO Jay Snowden told staff members in an internal email that the company will lay off about 100 employees as it focuses on growth for ESPNBet, reported CNBC’s Contessa Brewer. The casino and sports betting company employs about 20,000 people, the report noted.
