Benchmark analyst Kurt Hallead initiated coverage of Patterson-UTI with a Hold rating and no price target. While Patterson-UTI is in "a strong position" to benefit from U.S. land drilling and frac activity in select basins, rig count growth and pricing improvement is expected to moderate in 2023, Hallead tells investors.
