Paramount falls as CNBC says Sony bid for whole company becoming ‘less likely’

Shares of Paramount (PARA) are down $1.01, or 8%, to $12.00 after CNBC’s David Faber reported, citing sources, that Sony (SONY) is rethinking a bid for Paramount. A joint bid from Sony and partner Apollo Global (APO) for all of Paramount is becoming “less likely,” sources reportedly tell Faber.
