Ovintiv is considering a possible sale of its operations in the Uinta Basin, which could be valued at as much as $2B in a deal, people with knowledge of the matter told Bloomberg’s David Carnevali and Kevin Crowley. Ovintiv is working with an adviser to gauge buyer interest in the assets, the sources said.
