Oracle secures contract with Singapore Defence Science and Technology Agency

Singapore’s Defence Science and Technology Agency has signed a contract with Oracle (ORCL) for an Oracle Cloud Isolated Region that supports the Ministry of Defence and Singapore Armed Forces. The collaboration between DSTA and Oracle will enable MINDEF and the SAF to gain access to high-performance, air-gapped, and secure sovereign cloud computing, data management, and artificial intelligence services in a secured environment. The use of Oracle Cloud Isolated Region will transform the Command, Control, Communications and Computers functions of the SAF, and will modernize its digital capabilities with increased scalability and performance.
