Microsoft, its subsidiary GitHub, and OpenAI told a San Francisco federal court that a proposed class-acion lawsuit for abusing open-source code to train their AI systems can’t be sustained and have asked the court to throw away the suit, Reuters’ Blake Brittain reports.
