Needham upgraded Onto Innovation to Buy from Hold. The firm’s checks cause it to be increasingly wary about China wafer fab equipment into 2025 and now expects China WFE to decline to $25B-$30B in 2025, ending five consecutive years of strong growth, the analyst tells investors in a research note. Onto Innovation has small exposure to China and strong growth excluding China, Needham notes.
