Omnicell (OMCL) announced the opening of its Innovation Lab in Austin, Texas. The facility will serve as a hub focused on addressing challenges along the medication and supply journey and developing new technologies. Omnicell’s team will focus on developing concepts and quickly testing feasibility through an “innovation sprint” model. Technologies planned for development include robotics, AI, autonomous devices, sensor technologies, and machine vision.
