Old Dominion Freight Line announced that effective July 1, 2023, its Board of Directors has elected Gregory B. Plemmons, who currently serves as Senior Vice President – Sales, to succeed Kevin M. Freeman as the Company’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer and Steven W. Hartsell, who currently serves as Vice President – Field Sales, to succeed Mr. Plemmons as the Company’s Senior Vice President – Sales. As previously announced, Mr. Freeman will succeed Greg C. Gantt as the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2023. Mr. Gantt said, "We are excited to promote Greg and Steve and are proud of their commitment to provide our customers with superior service. Greg and Steve will continue to work with Marty and the rest of our leadership team to execute on our long-term strategic plan, and we look forward to their continued contributions."
