Despite strong software sales in the U.K. in October with new video game releases such as Sony‘s (SONY) “Spider-Man 2” and Nintendo’s (NTDOY) “Super Mario Bros. Wonder,” the month was tough in terms of console sales, Gamesindustry.biz’s Christohper Dring reports. PlayStation 5 sales fell 4% month-on-month in the U.K. in October, while Xbox (MSFT) sales fell 33%, the author says, noting that while Switch sales were up 15%, the console still was in third place for October.
