The New York Police Department will use more robots to fight crime, The Wall Street Journal quotes Mayor Eric Adams as having said. The city will lease one K5 robot made by Knightscope for use in the Times Square subway station starting in the summer, according to NYPD Chief of Department Jeffrey Maddrey, reported The Journal’s Jimmy Vielkind.
