Nvidia (NVDA) has added hundreds of staff in China over the past year in order to enhance its research capabilities and focus on new autonomous driving technologies, Bloomberg News reports. The company will end the year with 4,000 people, an increase from about 3,000 people at the start of 2024, people familiar with its operations told Bloomberg. Nvidia added 200 people in Beijing to enhance its team of researchers working on self-driving, the sources added.
