Nuscale Power initiated with a Buy at B. Riley

B. Riley initiated coverage of Nuscale Power with a Buy rating and $12 price target. NuScale has the only small modular reactor, or SMR, technology to receive Nuclear Regulatory Commission certification and expects its first VOYGR plant to be operational in 2029, the analyst tells investors. Management is “bullish on its customer pipeline,” notes the firm, which believes NuScale’s SMRs offer key advantages over traditional nuclear power and renewables.
