U.S. National Transportation Safety Board officials said late Monday that investigators from the board are aiming to establish if the door panel that blew off Alaska Airlines (ALK) Flight 1282 last week was correctly bolted in place, Forbes’ Siladitya Ray reports. The announcement comes after both Alaska Airlines and United (UAL) found loose bolts on door panels on a number of their grounded Boeing (BA) 737 Max 9 aircraft, the author notes.
