Argus analyst Kristina Ruggeritells investors in a research note that Northrop Grumman (NOC) is uniquely positioned in the industry with strengths in both hardware and software which has provided competitive differentiation for the company and enabled it to be a leader in aircraft autonomy, satellites and weapon systems. The firm, which has a Buy rating on the shares and lowered its price target to $525 from $560, says the recent drop in the stock price offers a buying opportunity.
