Evercore ISI analyst Glenn Schorr lowered the firm’s price target on Northern Trust to $73 from $75 and keeps an In Line rating on the shares. While the firm appreciates concerns over slowing revenue growth and eroding margins, it thinks the selloff in Northern Trust shares “may have been a little overdone” considering management’s explanation of a path to a positive net interest income trajectory and controlled expense growth.
